Rotary Airlock Valve or Rotary Valve
Rotary Airlock Valves are a type of rotary feeder and are often referred to simply as a Rotary Airlock or Rotary Valve. They provide feeding and metering functionality of a standard rotary feeder but their primary duty is to maintain pressure and provide an optimal airlock seal between different product conveying transitions, such as gravity to pneumatic conveying lines. An optimal airlock condition is essential to prevent air pressure loss in high pressure and high temperature conveying systems. We introduce ourselves as a foremost entity engrossed in the offering of Rotary Airlock Valve.
We are among the prestigious organizations engaged in manufacturing and
supplying Rotary Airlock Valve. These valves are used to manage the discharge
rates of fine or granular free flowing, dry solid materials connecting parts of
a system at equal pressure or with minimum air loss under differential pressure
conditions. In addition to this, our products are strictly tested on various
parameters of quality in order to ensure flawlessness. Our clients are our
friends and we ask them to give us full feedback of their requirement and then
it becomes our responsibility to ensure that they get most efficient Rotary Air
Lock Valve from us and that they will not face any problem or worries.
Shree Techno Engineers Rotary Airlocks are used worldwide throughout a
large variety of industrial and agricultural bulk and specialty material
handling systems. We specialize in the design and manufacture of custom built
rotary airlock products that can immediately improve the safety, reliability
and efficiency of your feeding and metering operations compared to other rotary
valve brands. We are globally famous for offering technologically advanced rotary
air valves for the buyers. It is widely used for low to medium Differential Air
Pressure Systems and Volumetric Feeder Discharge Equipment. Our range of rotary
air valves are at par with the set industrial standards and measured up to the
specific requirement of the clients.
Rotary feeders, also known as rotary airlocks or rotary valves, are
commonly used in industrial and agricultural applications as a component in a
bulk or specialty material handling system. Rotary feeders are primarily used
for discharge of bulk solid material from hoppers/bins, receivers, and cyclones
into a pressure or vacuum-driven pneumatic conveying system. Components of a
rotary feeder include a rotor shaft, housing, head plates, and packing seals
and bearings. Rotors have large vanes cast or welded on and are typically
driven by small internal combustion engines or electric motors.
The Shree Techno Engineers Blow-Thru Rotary Airlock Valves are designed
and manufactured specifically for applications that require discharging into a
pneumatic conveying line. These Airlocks are ideal for free-flowing materials
that require some assistance in clearing the rotor vane pockets. The design of the Shree Techno Engineers Blow-Thru Airlock makes
installation possible in low headroom applications and retrofits of existing
rotary valves. Also, like all Shree Techno Engineers Rotary Airlock Valves, the
blow through design features an innovative, larger vane pocket design. The
larger rotary vane pockets allow up to 50% more volume which enables the rotor
to run at lower speeds than other manufacturers’ rotary airlock and valve
feeders which increases efficiency and equipment life. These features provide
you with a blow through rotary airlock valve that has minimum air leakage, a
longer life, less maintenance and a higher return on investment. Other standard
features such as a precision casting, CNC machining, compact design and
universal mounting flanges allow for a versatile material handling rotary
airlock valve product that can fit virtually every existing bolt hole pattern
and replace any existing rotary valve. The Blow-Thru Rotary Airlock is
available in 8” and 10” sizes.
Rotary Airlock Valve have wide application in industry wherever dry
free-flowing powders, granules, crystals, or pellets are used. Typical
materials include: cement, ore, sugar, minerals, grains, plastics, dust, fly
ash, flour, gypsum, lime, coffee, cereals, pharmaceuticals, etc. Industries
requiring this type include cement, asphalt, chemical, mining, plastics, food,
etc. Rotary feeders are ideal for pollution control applications in wood,
grain, food, textile, paper, tobacco, rubber, and paint industries, the Standard
Series works beneath dust collectors and cyclone separators even with high
temperatures and different pressure differentials.
Rotary Valves are available with square or round inlet and outlet
flanges. Housing can be fabricated out of sheet material or cast. Common
materials are cast iron, carbon steel, 304 SS, 316 SS, and other materials.
Rotary airlock feeders are often available in standard and heavy duty models,
the difference being the head plate and bearing configuration. Heavy duty
models use an outboard bearing in which the bearings are moved out away from
the head plate. Housing inlet and discharge configurations are termed drop-thru
or side entry. Different wear protections are available such as hard chrome or
ceramic plating on the inner housing surfaces. Grease and air purge fittings
are often provided to prevent contaminants from entering the packing seals.
Rotary Airlock
The basic use of the rotary airlock feeder is as an airlock transition
point, sealing pressurized systems against loss of air or gas while maintaining
a flow of material between components with different pressure and suitable for
air lock applications ranging from gravity discharge of filters, rotary valves,
cyclone dust collectors, and rotary airlock storage devices to precision
feeders for dilute phase and continuous dense phase pneumatic convey systems.
Rotary Valve
Rotary airlock feeders/ rotary airlock valves are used in pneumatic
conveying systems, dust control equipment, and as volumetric feed-controls.
The Benefits of our Rotary Airlock Valves and Feeders:
- Our rotary airlock valves are used in a wide range of applications where there is need to minimize system air loss while transferring material between vessels with differing pressures.
- They are used as feeder valves to meter the flow of material between vessels with equivalent pressures.
- You will also find them doing double duty in systems where there is a need to minimize system air or gas loss while regulating the flow of material between vessels with differing pressures.
